The 42nd Final Debarkation Exam (

As the name implies, the Ironworks Debarkation Exam is a test to get off the train. Those who pass earn the right to debark at Guild HQ and join the Hunters Guild. Those who fail must remain at the Ironworks, enduring the same hellish training regimen for the entire three-month trip back to Borderport.[1]
The test format is seemingly different every time, the 42nd's format is Cops & Robbers with handcuffs. The time limit is 2 hours. The general rules of the exam are the same as the children's game.
- The cops try to capture the robbers and put them in jail.
- Free robbers can tag arrested robbers to free them.
As a special additional rule, handcuffs are required to make an arrest. Once handcuffed, the arrested party must move directly to jail.
Participants may use whatever tools or weapons they choose, but seriously wounding or killing another is strictly forbidden.
Participants who are not in jail when time expires will be declared to have passed the Debarkation Exam.[2]
