Curse of Heat (熱 (ねつ) の呪 (のろ) い, Netsu no Noroi^?) is the witch's hex cast upon Debonair Diamond.

Description

A Curse of Heat makes the cursed person's body emit scorching levels of heat, burning all around them. It is possible to subdue the curse, but only after an insane training regimen.

Usage

Debonair getting serious and increasing her temperature to 60°C.

Debonair Diamond is highly proficient with her hex, having near perfect control over her body's heat. She is capable of manipulating the heat, turning it into a weapon for her.

Debonair is capable of effectively suppressing her heat, making sure others remain uninjured. It is however, not perfect, as Debonair's average body heat is still over 50°C/120°F. She was said to be able to cook an egg in her palm when she gets excited. Whenever Debonair decides to slightly hurt people, she raises her heat to 60°C/140°F.

Debonair cools herself down.

Debonair's control is refined enough to control the degrees of her heat. She can easily melt metal in a matter of seconds. So far, she was shown capable of raising her temperature up to 800°C/1500°F.

After using her heat for offensive purposes, Debonair has to cooldown by pouring a bucket of cold water over herself.

Concentrate Heat

Debonair has developed a technique where she concentrates her heat into specific parts of her body. This concentration technique is primarily used for powerful offensive moves.

So far, we've seen her use a variation of this technique known as Concentrate Heat, Right Arm (右 (う) 腕 (わん) 集中 (しゅうちゅう) , Uwan Shūchū^?), concentrating her heat into her right arm. Another variation of this technique is known as A Limit-Skirting (限界 (げんかい) ギリギリ, Genkai Girigiri^?) 3400°C/6100°F, where Debonair concentrates intense heat into the palms of her hands.

	Billet Punch (圧鉄 (ビレット) 熱拳 (パンチ) , Biretto Panchi?): A long range attack Debonair can perform while wearing her Furnace Harness. By concentrating heat into her arm, Debonair shoots a giant fist made out of heat towards her target.
	Comet Laser (天筒熱砲 (コメットレーザー) , Kometto Rēzā?): A long range combo attack Debonair can perform with Cinderella while wearing her Furnace Harness. By concentrating intense heat into both of her palms and having Cinderella focus her magic around it, Debonair shoots a giant gust of highly destructive heat towards her target.

Support Equipment

Furnace Harness (鉄鋼装束 (ファーニスハーネス) , Fānisu Hānesu?): a special armor designed to withstand Debonair's heat. Using this armor allows her to fly and use long range attacks.

Trivia

• In the original Japanese version of the manga, Debonair's temperature is measured in Celsius. In the VIZ version, the temperature is measured in Fahrenheit.
  • The conversion from Celsius to Fahrenheit is not always accurate, since 50°C is actually 122°F, 800°C is 1472°F, and 3400°C is 6152°F.
