Gas Shells (痺気蜃 (ガス・シェール) , Gasu・Shēru^?) is one of The Hunters' 616 Tools, developed by the Hunters Guild.

Description

Gas Shells are average sized clams that emit a pungent gas as a self-defense mechanism. The gas functions both as a smokescreen and a tear gas, disorienting and distracting the one unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end of it.

Usage

Gas Shells were first used by Grimm during the battle against Dodou, where she used it as distraction to give her and Velou enough time to escape.

• Gas Shells are the first and so far only Hunter Tools that seem to be natural living organisms.
