Kasoka Village (カソカ
Description[]
Kasoka Village is a small hamlet comprised of modest huts and houses. The perimeter of the village is overlooked by a watchtower.
Synopsis[]
History[]
Not much is known about the history of Kasoka Village, but it can be assumed that it has existed for multiple generations prior to Mialli's murders. The hamlet is also not unfamiliar with werewolf attacks, since Velou's parents were killed by a werewolf.[2]
Part 1: Werewolf Hunting[]
At a certain point, Mialli secretly turned into a werewolf and began eating her fellow villagers, forcing the mayor to pay for the services of the Hunters Guild.[3] Upon arrival, the huntress introduced herself as Grimm and was promptly led towards the mountain hut on the outskirts of Kasoka by Velou. The following investigation revealed the culprit behind the disappearances, and caused the destruction of said hut.[4]
After Mialli was killed, Dodou and Naraoia attacked the hamlet, forcing the remaining villagers into Kasoka's meeting house. During this attack, several buildings were damaged and at least one house was destroyed, albeit it was abandoned.[5]
Almost immediately after all the werewolves were seemingly killed, two members of the Red List appeared in the hamlet. Grimm attempted to fight off the invaders, but this only caused several houses to be destroyed before the huntress's defeat.[6] Soon after, the Ashen Witch cast a spell that set Kasoka Village on fire. The hamlet was quickly destroyed, causing many people to go missing and forcing others to find new homes elsewhere.[7]
