Summary[]
In an isolated hamlet lives a boy named Velou who wants nothing more than to protect his beloved neighbors from the werewolf terrorizing the town. Why, even the town’s mayor and its skilled huntsmen are unable to handle the situation on their own anymore. In a desperate attempt to save his people, the mayor hires the Hunter’s Guild to exterminate the werewolf. But after paying an arm and a leg for the Guild’s services, Velou and the citizens are disappointed when a little girl in a red hood named Grimm shows up instead of the big, strong hunter they were expecting. Velou is skeptical of Grimm’s ability to handle the werewolf—surely the mayor has been scammed by the Hunter’s Guild, right?! Will Velou and the hamlet ever be able to live happily ever after?

A string of murders in a small village forces the hand of it's Mayor to hire a hunter from the Hunters Guild to investigate.
When the hunter arrives, she's no more than a little girl, but there's more to her than meets the eye; and together with a young village boy named Velou, the two of them discover and defeat the monster hiding amongst the villagers. Thus, Velou and the huntress Grimm, embark on a joint hunting adventure.

Velou declines, choosing instead to stay behind and protect his village, much to Grimm's chagrin. As she attempts to change his mind, two werewolf brothers, Dodou and Naraoia, begin their assault on Kasoka Village.

The group arrives at the doorstep of the Guild's mobile research facility the Ironworks, and Velou meets the boisterous instructor and conductor, "Hot Blooded Debonair".
Now, three months of arduous training begins. What awaits Velou in this metal fortress? What kind of people will he meet? And what are the Red List's mysterious plans for him?
